Screenshot_2014-11-23-17-12-59Are you thinking about the next great big idea? Visualized it a million times, pictured yourself on the cover of that Magazine or as TIMES person of the year? Well stop thinking! Thinking is dangerous!

Thinking births ideas but simultaneously murders them. In fact most ideas get killed by our thoughts.

We first of all think of this brilliant idea … but then we continue thinking…thinking about all the obstacles, thinking about the money needed, thinking about what people will say or think … until we think ourselves out of our idea! That’s why thinking is dangerous.

Now we can’t stop thinking…its impossible, but like an addict we can go into thinking rehab and control the way we think. So that we can focus on thinking that pushes us to get stuff done rather than thinking that makes us sit around wondering why we have not done shit.

  1. I agree, and am so guilty of over thinking and before u know it, u look back, almost 30 and haven’t done sh*t. (I exaggerate ). Although I need to be more active than doubtful. Tnx

  2. Thanks Ofili, this is food for thought for me o.. I have so many ideas and think myself out of actualizing these ideas.. Please write extensively on this, maybe an article, maybe a book.. just something that will guide us on what to do..

    Yes oooo…

*thinking your ideas to death comes from being extremely negative, dead serious about making a perfect feasibility study for the implementation of the ideas (thinking hard on removing every associated risks).

…risks multiplies as you progress, so focus more on managing them as they unfold rather than trying to eliminate it all…

    U on point Ofili…
