Apologies for the delay in articles. Had a last minute unplanned trip to Nigeria so have been very busy.

Today we will feature the second hero from THE SCAVENGERS series, you can see the first hero here. Today it’s the hero yellow fever, who has the telekinesis power to control matter…especially cars!

In the sun, in harmattan and sometimes in rain, he is there willing traffic through with his feverish dance moves, white gloves and super human powers.

Introducing YELLOW FEVER…hero, villain or victim…only time will tell…

  1. He’s getting extinct, can’t remember the last time I noticed the uniform. But I do agree he’s a sort of hero. Can’t wait for the next edition in the series

  2. On some of my worst days in traffic, the really good ones have brought a smile to my face. There was this particular guy in Jos where i grew up, who did the robot dance while directing traffic. He did that for hours on end everyday come sun or rain. Can you imagine how tiring that was; probably a very good workout. He always made my day. Shout out to all Yellow Fever’s, past, present and future.

Yesss…I saw that once in Abuja this year. Was so awesome!

And its impressive when you have people that put the FUN in a stressful and often under appreciated job! Go yellow fever!

  3. I really like where u said, ‘telekinesis power to control matter…especially cars!’. 😀
I remember an English essay I wrote in primary scholl, where I was to narrate an accident I experienced. What did I know then about someone called a ‘traffic warden’, I simply wrote, ‘and as the YELLOW FEVER was leaving the road…’
@Monale: Is it the guy at secretariat junction?
