The Cubicle Entrepreneur: What Would You Do If You Get Fired Today?

What Would I Do If I Get Fired Today?

That is the question I started asking myself in 2008 … in the midst of that recession.

And it is one that I have asked myself almost everyday since then. Because in 2008, I saw grown adults turn into quivering babies, worried about getting laid off as the company downsized, as stocks crashed and as an Economy entered a recessive recession.

And 2016 is going to be worse, we know it!

Every Economic index points to this. Only a few will survive unscathed. Heads have already started rolling and the falling Oil prices will only hasten the velocity of the rolling heads.

What Would You Do If You Get Fired Today?

Do you have a plan? Are you getting prepared? Do You have a side hustle? How long will your savings last? Do you even have any savings? How Will you survive?

It’s never too late to start asking that question.

I started asking the question 8 years ago and today I am not worried. Not because I think I will not get fired, but because I know that if I do get fired I will have a couple of businesses to fall back on.

That one question literally changed my life and it could change yours. #TheCubicleEntrepreneur

Don’t worry about the answer too much. Just keep asking the question, the more you ask the question the better your answer becomes.
