Sometimes I feel like I am the only one fighting!

Don’t get me wrong, others want to fight, they are complaining also. They are pissed off at the situation going on around them. We all discuss our frustrations behind closed doors with passion … so much passion you would think we are about to start a war. Actually we are!

Together we deploy a plan to tackle our enemy, to fix our problems once and for all. The war will not be easy, we all admit that. So we go over the plan several times, just to make sure we understand.

But then the day comes … I run charge into battle slashing and kicking just as we planned. But something feels wrong … I look around and realize that I am the only one fighting!

That’s been my story in Nigeria. Lot’s of talking … no action … just talk talk talk.

Sometimes I feel like I am the only one fighting!

  1. Ofili you are not alone, i’m here and everyday I pick my sword and fight. Some days are tough little victories here and there. Sometimes its overwhelming but hey the people who actually get things done are very few.

People can talk that’s why its cheap.

  2. That’s what Elijah said, and he sunk into depression. He felt like he was the only one fighting. Funny thing is that there were 7000 other prophets like him who hadn’t been compromised.

There are many people fighting also, in their own little corner in Nigeria, so don’t give up. The fact that you are not seeing them doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Actually I fall in the revolt in the meeting room but missing at the battlefield category. Not saying its right but its sometimes a bit difficult to walk away from the safe zone, take a big risk. So to the fighters out there, keep fighting. We’ll support your noble cause in secret and one day, you may just look back and see us there, slashing alongside you, heart in throat, with our bullet proof vests on.
