Hypocritical Racism?

This post has been seen 573 times.

Why?

Why is it okay for a black person to paint his face white but when it’s a white person painting his face black all hell breaks lose?

Why is it okay for black women to wear weaves grown from the scalps of white women, but when white women rock their own natural hair in Afros or Braids or Cornrows we accuse them of cultural misappropriation?

Why is it okay for black people to scream “Nigga,” say “my Nigga,” shout “my Nigga,” be “a Nigga” but a white person or any other race for that matter can’t say “What’s up my Nigga” without the entire room shifting?

Why?

Are we being a bit hypocritical with our racism?

That’s just the way it is bro!

It is only natural to hear different things when the same things are said by different people.

When a white man calls you a ‘nigga’ and when Larry Wilmore calls Obama a ‘nigga’ – we hear different things. And they most likely mean different things too anyways…

But by and large, I protests whenever I am called a nigga, whether the speaker is white, black, brown, green or yellow – It is simply derogatory!

Perception makes the difference. But, as legendary Bongos Ikwue would say, …..”what wrong is wrong, what right is right, I don’t know oh”.
