At the end of the day it’s all about branding and packaging. Imagine glazed puff puff soaked in caramel with mango flavored sprinklings? Yummy right? That’s branding, and that’s the only advantage Donut has over Puff Puff.

Nigeria is at a critical time, where we have to look inside our borders to find our Economic capital if we are to survive. And we would do that only when we master the act of branding local items like puff puff and turning them into international brands.

  1. A lot of people that are trying to ride on the #BuyNigeriaGrowTheNaira hash tag are forgetting that they are the same people that provide. S****y service and s******r products in the first place. I’m big on locally produced goods but I won’t disillusion myself and pay for something so obviously below standard, which is where the SON needs to come in and actually make themselves useful.

  2. Well said Ofili. The thing with Nigeria and Nigerians is that we are always very fast to invite foreign companies and export what we can easily develop and generate a gold mine from.
