Don’t Write For The Applause: Part 2

This post has been seen 2720 times.

When you align with their rules and belief they will call you objective
When you argue for their cause they will call you an intellectual
When you spar with words to defend their lifestyle they will call you wise

But the moment you mis-align on beliefs, counter their cause or attack their lifestyle …
They will quickly call you Stupid. Not just “stupid” but stupid “stupid.”

So don’t get distracted by the likes, the comments, the words of support.
Because that can and will quickly fade.

Instead focus on your internal compass on what you know is right
Adjust it when you think it is veering off course.
And abandon ship when you are totally lost, but do so with the guidance of your moral compass.

THE END.

  1. When they shoot words at you, smash poop in their faces. When they criticise your wit, smear their foolishness with your rhymes. When your writing bores, and they yell about it, don’t sulk! They’ll soon be done retching their guts.

    Fair enough?

    Nice words, bro.
