The Rise Of The Cubicle Entrepreneur

This post has been seen 2322 times.

Hey you … yes you …probably sitting down at a desk doing a job you hate.

A job you hate because … well its killing you on the inside and killing your dreams as well. That job is the only thing that stands between you and your master plan to take over the world or country or maybe just your community. But aaargh your job has you strapped to the desk watching the clock as it hits 5:00 pm 8:00 pm just so that you can begin the cycle all over again.

Conventional wisdom is to wake up one morning and yell I QUIT like a Hollywood movie. Except that your life ain’t no movie. You have bills to pay, kids to feed, generators to refuel, police to bribe … quitting is not an option. So you clamp down and focus on your job, maybe one day someone would make you a manager and then you can live happily ever after…

But you know that is bullshit because your passion keeps biting and nagging at you … so you start … a business created from your cubicle “a side hustle” to feed your dreams so that your dreams can stop eating away at your conscience. You start your life as a cubicle entrepreneur and attempt to join the select few poets, authors, designers, consultants that realized their entrepreneurial dreams from an office cubicle…

True awakening! ‘side hustle’ is so advisable $ important but the “fear of the unknown” is always a debarring factor both in quitting that sickening job and also starting the side hustle. Overcoming that is a start point.

Passion is bullshit was written to say you need to work hard to be successful. Passion will not automatically make you successful. Chasing your passion from your Cubicle without putting in the long nights and expecting to be successful just like that will not happen.

      • So sorry, this has nothing to do with the post… but would your team add Things Fall Apart to the OkadaBooks.com store… Please?? :)
