Escaping The Comfort Zone

I don’t know what it is that keeps us in the comfort zone….

Maybe it’s a fear of the unknown, may be its because it’s well TOO comfortable! Who knows … but we do know the truth and that is that the comfort zone is not really comfortable, its annoying..we want to get out of it! But the zone, the comfort zone…it sucks us in…pulls us in…its like the black hole of our galactical system where time comes to a STAND still…expect of course the comfort zone is all in our heads…and the only way to escape it … is by getting it out of our heads!

    • I have been thinking a lot about this topic lately… Presently feeling unsatisfied with work, and a whole host of stuff. Everything is the same and not exciting enough but it is too comfortable for you to fuss over it. Logically, i have realized that i have reached my comfort zone again.
I believe it’s just laziness stopping us sometimes.
Mind you the comfort zone period doesn’t last for long (made in china) either the universe rudely yanks you off your lazy butt or you get literally sick of being there.

    • Very true…I hope I get out of mine soon, maybe giving myself a time frame would make it better.God help me..

  1. Fear of the unknown.
The worst part of it is that where you are now might not be “all that” but that little sense of security we have at the time is just comfy enough not to venture out.

What if I fail? What will my friends say? Why have I allowed my level to “drop” cos of leaving something certain to do or start something unfamiliar?

I’ve come to learn that time will pass whether or not one makes a move. I’ve already given my self a date to leave my “comfort zone” and even though I’ve planned my exit and rebound strategy, the thought of it is hella scary 😀

    Jumps.
