This post has been seen 4141 times.

So excited today!

I finally got the draft layout for my latest book AFRO: The Girl With The Magical Hair now all that is left is to do a few edits, a kickstarter campaign after which the book will be available on my Konga Store for purchase.

For those who can’t wait (like me), do check out some exclusive exclusive pictures of the inside of the book. Hope you like it and are excited as me in creating a book specifically for Nigerian children with Nigerian characters.

Please support by buying this book for your children and for those of you without children, what are you waiting for!

That’s great….. be sure to definitely help you promote the book. I trust that the book will have some edifying lessons for the children.

And for the question on those without children……maybe we will create a committee to look into the issue and get back to you.

Excited to see the book in all bookstores across the country and in peole’s hands on the street and in buses and on okadas and taxis and cars. Congratulations Ofili:) great author you are.

  4. Cool stuff. I know I don’t have kids yet but I’d definately evangelise the book any way I can. This blog has really inspired me to start writing my own book (and I really hope it be as cool and crazy as your books)

  5. Bravo Man, the book looks colorful and the design very epic.

Waiting to grab my copy, maybe I might just get inspiration from it to finish my own stories (Non-children fantasy though).

    Kudos!

  6. Ofili,

Congrats! All them girls with 20inches peruvian hair and things will be unhappy with your storyline o. I can deduce the excerpt is promoting natural beauty (no use of relaxer, kanek=kanekalon, yaki). Nice!

  7. I love how u shortened Kanekalon to Kanek and subtly throwing Yaki in as well.

I will buy for my son God willing.

  8. Congrats Ofili. I am ordering all your books already. I like that you get up and do something without waiting for someone to set you up

  9. Wow!
    Congrats on this!
It’s exciting to see an idea(i remember when you put this story up on the blog) sprout into a reality.
    #inspired :-)

As for those without kids…hmm, you will head the committee for the matter.lol

Thanks Frances! You really captured the excitement within me in that one comment. We truly never know where the words that float around in our heads wil lend up or take us.
